Terms & conditions

The terms on which we sell goods through this website. Please read them before you order.

1. About us

This website is operated by AVERSTONE GLOBAL LTD, trading as Averstone Global, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17510566. Our address is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

You can contact us through our contact page or at customercareaverstoneglobal@gmail.com.

2. These terms

These terms apply to every order placed through this website. By placing an order you agree to them. We may change them from time to time; the version that applies to your order is the one published here when you place it.

3. Our products

We take care to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours can vary slightly between screens, and dimensions and weights are given within normal tolerances. Products marked Coming soon are shown for information only and are not offered for sale until they are marked Available.

4. Prices

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the total price of the goods, including any VAT that applies. Delivery charges are additional and are shown before you confirm your order. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already accepted.

If a product has been priced incorrectly by an obvious mistake, we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you and you may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Placing an order

Online ordering is not yet open. Until it is, orders cannot be placed through this website and no payment will be taken.

When you place an order you are offering to buy the goods on these terms. We will email you to acknowledge that we have received it; that email is not acceptance. A contract between us is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched.

We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if payment is not authorised, or if there has been a pricing or description error. If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

6. Payment

Payment is taken by the payment provider shown at checkout, using the methods offered there. We do not store your card details. See payment information.

7. Delivery

Delivery areas, estimated times and charges are set out in our shipping & delivery policy, which forms part of these terms. The goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to the address you gave us. You own them once we have received payment in full.

8. Your right to cancel and return

If you are a consumer you have a legal right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving the goods. Your rights, the exceptions and the model cancellation form are set out on our cancellation rights page, and the practical steps and refund timings in our returns & refunds policy. Both form part of these terms.

9. If there is a problem with the goods

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform to the contract. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If yours are not, contact us through our contact page and we will put it right in accordance with your legal rights, which are summarised in our returns policy. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

10. Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods.

Subject to that, if we fail to comply with these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach, but not for loss that was not foreseeable. We supply goods for domestic and private use only and are not liable for business losses such as loss of profit or business interruption.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event significantly delays your order, we will tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund of any goods not yet delivered.

12. Use of this website

The content of this website, including text, design and photographs, belongs to us or to our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

13. Your information

We use your personal data as described in our privacy policy.

14. General

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continue to apply. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we may still do so later. The contract is between you and us; no one else has rights under it.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
